#AtukulaLaddu / #PohaLaddu are the Sweetened Poha Energy Balls which is a healthy option for the Mithai lovers, made using poha (Flattened rice), ghee and jaggery. Atukula Laddu is an easy-to-make laddoo and is sure to delight your taste buds.
Kids will love it too. It is made in South India during the festival of Janmashtmi.

Ingredients :
Poha (Flattened rice) -250 gms
Dry Coconut Pieces - 2 tbsp
Jaggery - 250 gms
Roasted Dry Fruits ( Cashews & Almonds)
Ghee - 1/2 tsp
Roasted Moongdal Powder - 50 gms
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp

Method:
1.Heat 2 teaspoons of ghee in a frying pan. Add and roast the beaten rice until crisp and aromatic.
2. Switch off the heat and allow it to cool. Grind the roasted poha, coconut and cardamom seeds into a powder.
3. Add fried coconut pieces and grind it into powder.
4.Add the powdered jaggery to it and grind again till the mixture becomes smooth.
5. Let's grind the dry fruits into a coarse powder.
6. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Add the remaining ghee, cardamom powder and moong dal powder, mix very well. Shape the mixture into small round balls. Store in an airtight container.
